Rear end sagging and bouncy ride – new shocks or something else?
-
I’ve got a 2014 Wrangler JK Unlimited that I use mostly as a daily driver but also for light off roading on weekends. Lately I’ve noticed the rear end sits noticeably lower than the front, especially when I have a full tank of gas or a couple of passengers in the back. The ride has also gotten really bouncy, like the car keeps bouncing after going over speed bumps instead of settling down quickly. I crawled underneath and didn’t see any obvious leaks from the shocks, but the springs might be sagging after all these years. I’ve been looking into Abu Dhabi Suspension Repair options because I don’t want to just throw money at new shocks if the real issue is worn out coils or maybe even the control arm bushings. Has anyone here dealt with sagging rear end on a JK? Did new springs fix it or was it something else? Also wondering if I should just upgrade to a mild lift kit while I’m at it since labor would be similar anyway. Any shop recommendations around Mussafah that actually understand Jeep suspension geometry would be awesome. Just trying to get my ride quality back without spending a fortune.
