Hi folks. My company is expanding sales into Azerbaijan and we hit an obvious wall: local prospects do not answer calls from foreign numbers, and the ones who do assume we are a scam. We have no office in Baku and no plans to open one this year, so a physical line is out. I keep reading about virtual numbers with local prefixes but I do not understand the practical side. Does this actually work for outbound sales, and what does the setup involve on our end? Team is five people in sales, all remote, so whatever we pick has to work without any office hardware at all.
