Finally did the front brakes on my CT6 – here’s what I learned

So my 2017 Cadillac CT6 started squeaking like a grocery cart every time I braked near the traffic lights on Hessa Street, and I knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I got quotes from three different garages and the prices were all over the place, but while researching I kept coming back to https://brakepadreplacementdubai.ae/brands/cadillac/ to understand what genuine pads should actually cost. Ended up going with a mid range ceramic set from a shop in Al Quoz that specializes in American cars, and honestly the difference is huge. No more squeaking, almost zero dust after a week of driving, and the pedal feel is way more linear than before. The only weird thing is that the brake warning light took about two days to turn off on its own, but the mechanic said that's normal for some Cadillacs after new pads. Anyone else had that delay with the sensor resetting? Overall pretty happy I didn't go to the dealer and pay triple.
